Your Voice Matters
Home

Hey Ya'll!  My name is Felicia, I'm 19 and just left wonderful Texas to live in jolly ol' London, England!  While I no longer live in the United States, I am still very interested and excited about the 2004 election. Because I am not able reach people in America personally, I decided that I was going to do what I could to spread the word through this website.

I understand that politics is not a very interesting subject for many people, but my hope is that more people, especially young adults, will take more of an interest in it.

Political affairs have never been very intriguing to me, and I still do not understand half of it.  However, I realized that if I want to see our nation grow and achieve all that it can, I have to do something to help that happen.  So that is why I am here. To spread the word and get as many people as possible to vote.

You may think that since you are just one person that your vote will not really matter in the long run.  Wrong!  It will!  Your voice is so important, and not only in just this election.  Your voice is essential in everyday life.  In every situation you are in, what you have to say matters.  Don’t ever doubt that.

I have compiled a list of some great sites to help you gather information about the candidates and learn how to register yourself and your friends.  I also threw in some links to sites that I have found to be very valuable.  They do not correlate with the election, but I hope that they will have some positive influence in your day, if not your life.

I hope that you all find this information useful and that you are now eager to get out there and make a difference.  I know that if you set your mind to it, you CAN!
